Filming with Different Equipment
Being in the filming industry you will come across a lot of different equipment when filming. This list will show the most common equipment and it will have videos to show the results in how they use them.
The Slider
The Slider gives you a smooth movement. It can move across landscapes and move into objects. It also can reverses out from objects. Without the slider it would be hard to get a smooth effect.
The slider does have a downside which is that it runs on a track which means it isn't flexible.
This video clips gives you examples on how a slider can be used.

The Shoulder Mount
The shoulder mount keeps the camera stable and doesn't make the clip jerky like if you were to carry the camera with your hands. With the shoulder mount being attached to a person this gives them access to move around with it, instead of being tied to one spot.
The shoulder mount makes it flexible to use in different ways. In the video clip you can see that it is being used to follow a moving object. It can also be used to move around and up and down a stationary object.

GoPro
The GoPro gives you high definition action shots. It's waterproof and shockproof so it's suitable for people who door outdoor activities, i.e. snowboarding, skydiving and many other sports.
The GoPro also has many camera effects to it as you can transform a clip into a fisheye form or even have slow mo in a video capture.

Trying Out

Shoulder Mount
The first thought I had when using the shoulder mount was that it was really heavy. I understand that it does contain a lot of metal and has to carry a camera but it was really heavy on my shoulder.
Filming with the shoulder mount was very easy, my camera seated properly with no hassle and it was easy to focus on objects. The final outcome of the short clip I made was good, but I need to try and keep my balance steady.

Tripod
I'm so happy that this object was made. It was so easy to use, slot the camera into position and there you go. It was easy to move around, slightly heavy but worth it. Instead of moving the tripod you could just move the handles and set them in place and you can start taking your snaps.
