Depth of Field with the 18-55mm Lens
Depth of field is the distance between the nearest and furthest object in a scene. The sharp quality captures the perfect image. Using the depth of field means you can only focus on one thing at a time. You cant have more than one focus point so that equals to you deciding if you want a close up of an image or a full view image.

Depth of Field with the 50mm Lens
The 50mm lens required a lot more attention than the kit lens. As it doesn't have auto focus you have to make sure you are set steadily otherwise you will end up with a blurry picture. Trying to get a good picture was hard but once I got the right focus spot I found it easier.
